We are a family run gym, we like to feed ideas, defend dreams and develop passions. Through training we have realised that the same dedication it takes to be good at a sport can be integrated into peoples lifestyle, So far the results have been fascinating.
From complete novice to pro fighter, from overweight to entering a bodybuilding competition, shy introvert to being on a stage, out of control with no real focus to a calm, determined, driven up and coming fighter, couldn't run to entering marathons......The list goes on. However, we know it all starts with three key sides. Get these three right and the world is yours, and it all starts the minute you enter Lions.
We are proud to say we have grown Lions to a point where we now have 10 different instructors. From Boxing to Muay Thai, Core conditioning to Yoga, Functional Fitness to new Tae Twan Do session and much more. We love being able to offer multiple different personalities, opinions and disciplines all under one roof. The one thing that we all have in common is the love of our art and teaching.
Our vision for the future is to continue to grow Lions through new students, more successes inside and outside the ring . With an intention of moving to bigger premises, offer more session with more variety. We plan on expanding the shows and the interclub and believe that we can make Watford a well-known place for Muay Thai and K1
However the true future we believe lays in working on community projects within Watford. We have always seen the importance of giving back to our local community and look to make Watford a better place by offering youth initiative schemes and charity events which we are looking to expand into other areas over the next few years
"I originally started training because a friend insisted I tagged along to a martial arts class that she wanted to attend. 15 years later i'm still in love with training, although im getting older my body is still improving in ability and look. My life has improved more than I could ever have imagined and all I needed to do get through the door on that first session"
